According to the Mississippi State Board of Contractors: "Each qualifying party for a residential license must complete two (2) credit hours of continuing education taught by a board approved provider or instructor… in order to maintain a residential license pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. § 73-59-11. The continuing education requirement applies to all residential licenses issued on or after July 1, 2015." Licensees are responsible for ensuring compliance with all continuing education requirements applicable to their license classification.

Yes. Cloud Crust LLC submits course completion records to the Mississippi State Board of Contractors within fourteen (14) business days of successful course completion. Licensees are required to retain their certificate of completion for a minimum of five (5) years, as documentation may be requested by the Board.

Cloud Crust LLC offers online-only continuing education courses for Mississippi contractor license renewal. Classroom or in-person instruction is not currently available.

Yes. Upon successful completion of an approved continuing education course, a certificate of completion will be issued. Certificates are available for immediate download upon course completion.

No. Completion of continuing education requirements does not constitute license renewal. License renewal applications and fees must be submitted directly to the Mississippi State Board of Contractors in accordance with Board procedures.

Access to purchased online courses will remain available for one (1) year from the date of first login. Courses must be completed within this period to receive continuing education credit.

Yes. All Cloud Crust LLC courses are designed to be compatible with mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, as well as desktop and laptop computers.

While Cloud Crust LLC reports course completions to the Mississippi State Board of Contractors, licensees are responsible for maintaining their certificates of completion for at least five (5) years and providing documentation to the Board upon request.
